Hey there, it’s Konstantin von Schröder, and I’m excited to announce my next short film,
One Prick — a dark comedy about grief, family dysfunction, and one very awkward inheritance.
When John’s estranged father passes away, he expects little more than an awkward funeral and lingering resentment. Instead, he’s left with a cryptic inheritance—an absurdly phallic object with no explanation. As he stumbles through a wake filled with tense family dynamics and half-hearted condolences, John becomes obsessed with uncovering the meaning behind his father’s bizarre final gesture. What begins as a frustrating mystery turns into an unexpected journey of grief, humor, and reluctant self-discovery, forcing John to confront the complicated relationship he tried to forget.
